Best Accommodation in McLaren Vale for visiting the Vale Brewing Taphouse
The long awaited Vale Brewing Taphouse, complete with on-site micro brewery and restaurant, has finally opened in late September 22.
We certainly are super excited to have another restaurant in walking distance to Karawatha Cottages!
Set on the upper edge of the Beresford Homestead vineyard (and alongside "our" wine walking trail) you will find the sleek and modern building, with an expansive lawn outside and almost 360 degree views - rolling vineyards, gums and pines - even glimpses of the Spencer Gulf and Mount Lofty in the distance. And if you look closely, you can even spot your cottage amongst the gum trees on the opposite hill (the above picture has been taken from our Ponder Cottage).
You can enjoy the views at the Vale Brewing Taphouse by just having a glass of beer (or wine or cocktail), embark on a tasting experience (multiple beer flights are available) or indulge in a meal.
The Taphouse restaurant is however not your normal tap house: you won't find any burgers here (they do have a a couple of pizza options) but the restaurant offers a fine dining experience.
